Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, And T-Mobile Confirm Support For BlackBerry 10 [Updated]

RIM is focusing on one thing – to start the year right by officially launching BlackBerry 10 later this month. Of course, success for RIM also means that all of the major carriers in the U.S. will be on its side. Today, we’re hearing that Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile will be supporting RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry 10 devices. At CES 2013, executives from the three carriers alluded their plans. “We’ll carry it,” says Lowell McAdam, Chief Executive of Verizon Communications. “We’re hopeful it is going to be a good device.”

On the other hand, AT&T Handset Executive Jeff Bradley also confirmed that the telecommunications giant will be carrying the phone. “It’s logical to expect our current (BlackBerry) customers will have the best BlackBerry devices to choose from in the future,” Bradley told Reuters. The same is true with T-Mobile. T-Mobile Chief Executive John Legere was caught saying, “We’re extremely optimistic that it’s going to be a successful product and our business customers are extremely interested in it.”

Update: Sprint has just contacted us saying that the carrier too, has plans of bringing BlackBerry 10 to its customers later this year. The company says more details will be revealed soon.
