The Dutch court in The Hague came to this decision, meaning Apple’s request for the court to ban the Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales is no longer valid. Apple claims that the design looks too similar to the Apple iPad due to its rounded corners (pffft!), and since Samsung has emerged the victor here, Apple would need to fork out around 64,000 Euros in damages. Should Apple try anything funny like blocking sales of the Galaxy Tabs in shops, this will result in a further fine of up to 100,000 Euros daily. Let’s see what is up Apple’s sleeves next…
