Nokia Asha Special Edition Handsets Coming Your Way
The range of Nokia Asha handsets are not the ones to reside on the high end scale of things, but this does not mean that they do not sell. On the contrary, emerging markets and developing countries have a critical mass of the population that are unable to afford expensive smartphones, and will have to make do with the featurephone, leaving the Nokia Asha range to fill this niche rather well. How about adding some color to the featurephone scene with special editions of the Nokia Asha?
Recently announced by Nokia Conversations Russia, these special editions of the Nokia Asha will come clad in intricate silver and gold chrysanthemum prints, where the Nokia Asha 308/309 in black and silver retail for around $148 after conversion, while the white and gold Asha 311 is more expensive at approximately $164. These do seem to shape up to be pretty decent Valentine’s Day gifts, don’t you think so? Will they see action in other countries? Perhaps, but do not expect them to make a splash in developed and mature markets.
