JVC GC-PX100 Camera Is Designed For Fast And Easy Handling

[CES 2013] Japanese consumer electronics corporation, JVC, is showcasing its latest HD camcorder here in Las Vegas. Enter the JVC GC-PX100, a fast-moving action camera that, according to JVC, offers high bit rate progressive recording which delivers high resolution HD images and full HD slow-motion video. The GC-PX100 is capable of shooting full HD 1920 x 1080/60p video at 36Mbps. JVC says that this bit rate allows full HD slow-motion playback and is perfect for motion analysis and special effects.

It also features a fast F1.2 lens, a 1/2.3” 12.8 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, Wi-Fi connectivity, and optical image stabilization capabilities. There are five shooting speeds available, ranging from 120fps to 600fps, and users can also shoot bursts of nine still images from video at the touch of a button. Users can also opt for other shooting modes which includes digital-still recording up to 60fps and variable speed time-lapse recording. The GC-PX100 sports a 3-inch LCD monitor and key controls are conveniently placed for intuitive operation. JVC says that the GC-PX100 will be available in March for $999.95.
