Google Wallet Gets A New Look
Google did not just update its Google Drive app for iOS. The Mountain View-based technology behemoth also improved its very own mobile payment system, Google Wallet. Google Wallet now supports any credit or debit card, whether it is a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Google says that these cards are available for in-store purchases or for online purchases at participating merchants. This means that all your cards will be housed in the “My Wallet” tab, with your default card displayed.
Disabling your mobile wallet is also easy by going to the “Devices” section of wallet.google.com/manage. Furthermore, the update also brings improvements to its user interface which now adds a holo-like UI, as well as stability and battery life improvements. Note that you can download the update manually by visiting Google Play. Users who enabled the “automatically update” feature should start receiving the update today.
