Ematic Announces FunTab Family Tablets With Zoodles Kid Mode

[CES 2013] We’ve covered Ematic’s FunTab tablet and FunTab Pro tablet last year, which are both aimed at kids. Well, today at CES 2013, the company behind this technological innovation officially announced the FunTab family, all with Zoodles Kid Mode. Ermatic is working is Zoodle to build tablets that are safe, educational, and entertaining for kids. There are four tablets all in all – the FunTab Pro, the FunTab, the FunTab XL, and the FunTab Mini.

All four tablets are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and they are pre-loaded with nifty features, such as Interactive Story Books and Art Studio, and games. The FunTab Pro is 7-inch tablet that’s powered by a 1GHz processor. It sports a battery that can run for 8 hours and an HDMI port that makes it an ideal tablet for your kids’ presentations at school. It will retail for $149.99. On the other hand, the FunTab sports a 7-inch display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and a 400 MHz GPU. This tablet is retailing for $119.99.

The company’s newest additions are the FunTab XL and the FunTab Mini. The FunTab XL has a 9-inch display and under the hood is a 1.2GHz processor with 400 MHz GPU. It also features a 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The price is set at $149.99. Meanwhile, the FunTab Mini, as its name suggests, has a 4.3-inch display. It features a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It retails for $59.99.
