BlackBerry 10 Pre-Orders Go Live In Canada
With BlackBerry 10 just around the corner, details of RIM’s long-awaited platform and its flagship devices are beginning to leak, with the latest one in the form of promotional materials, as reported earlier. The BlackBerry 10 fever is getting hotter in Canada as Rogers, Bell, TELUS, Virgin Mobile, and SaskTel allude their support for BlackBerry 10. We’re also hearing today that Best Buy and Future Shop are now offering pre-orders of RIM’s yet-to-be-named BB10 devices.
A quick check at Future Shop will reveal a specific landing page for BlackBerry 10. There’s also a opt-in below it that lets users pre-order in store. The same is true with Best Buy Canada, as evidenced by the “Pre-order in-store now” caption. For our Canadian readers, you may have to fork $50 to reserve your BB10 device. Will it be a Z10 or a X10? Meanwhile, in the U.S., the four major carriers – Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile – have also confirmed their support for BlackBerry 10. Guess all we have to do now is to sit back and wait for the D-day.
