The jump from the 4” screen of the iPhone 5 to 4.8” to this rumored iPhone is pretty big, although this is not the first time we’ve heard such rumors as several publications and analysts in the past have suggested that Apple could be working on a larger iPhone. Considering that Apple’s Android rivals such as Samsung, Sony, HTC, Motorola and etc. have all put out large screen phones, not to mention the Full HD displays from Sony and HTC, it is understandable that Apple might want to play catch up. Then again it was never really in Apple’s style to play catch up for the sake of it, i.e. the iPhone which stuck to its 3.5” display for years despite Android handsets growing larger by the day. In any case with all rumors, it’s best taken with a grain of salt and we suggest that’s what you do.
