It is just less than a fortnight before CES 2013 kicks off in Las Vegas, Nevada, and ZTE of China has something interesting up their sleeves that they want you to know about the ZTE Grand S. This will be another smartphone to join the elite 5” Full HD display smartphone, which is currently occupied by the likes of the HTD Droid DNA and Oppo Find 5. Well, the ZTE Grand S is apparently thinner than originally thought, where most folks thought that it would be 7.6mm thin, but a recent slide of the phone showed that it is thinner than that – measuring a mere 6.9mm slim. Of course, all we need to do now is wait for the official Grand S specifications unveiled at CES 2013, and all speculation as well as doubt will be thrown out of the window.
Other hardware specifications of the ZTE Grand S include a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with a price of approximately $449 after conversion for an unlocked version.
