Windows Blue Does Not Resurrect Start Button
If there is one major change in Windows 8 compared to all the other versions of Windows in the past, it would be this – the famous Start button is missing, and for folks who have been keeping their fingers crossed that Windows Blue which is set to arrive sometime in summer next year will see the return of the iconic Star button, you will be disappointed. CNbeta reports that Windows Blue will not be bringing the Start button back to Windows 8, ensuring that it remains as a relic of the past.
This might come across as pompous on Microsoft’s part, but assuming they were to budge from their previous position, it would mean that Microsoft would have caved in to users’ requests. Well, we do know that Windows Blue will definitely include tweaks made to the desktop, in addition to updates introduced to the taskbar as well. The entire user interface will seem to be flattened if reports are true, and the kernel should be bumped to 6.3.
