Samsung Galaxy Grand unveiled
If you’re in the market for a mid-ranged Android handset with the possibility of it supporting dual-SIMs, you might be interested to learn that Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Grand. The Galaxy Grand will come in two flavors – one that supports dual-SIM cards, allowing users to swap between the SIM cards effortlessly, and the regular single SIM version. Unfortunately Samsung did not state how much the Galaxy Grand will cost, or which markets it will be launching it, but we will be keeping our eyes peeled nonetheless, but in the meantime if the handset is of interest to you, it might be worth keeping it in mind.
The Galaxy Grand will come with modest specs, such as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 64GB, a 5” WVGA TFT LCD display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,100mAh battery, and best of all it comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean preinstalled which should ease the minds of potential customers who might be worried that it could come with Android 4.0 ICS and would take months before an update is released. Since it is a Samsung phone after all, it will also come with Samsung’s own features such as Direct Call, Smart Alert, S Voice and more.
