Google Street View And Maps Makes Wii U Debut Next January
At the Nintendo Direct presentation today, Mr. Iwata of Nintendo did show off Nintendo’s fair share of game footage to a bunch of rabid Japan-based fans. Not only that, Mr. Iwata also did mention in a casual manner that Google Street View as well as Google Maps will soon make its way to the Nintendo Wii U – and this is set to happen sometime at the end of January next year. Mr. Iwata demonstrated in a way where you swing the GamePad around in a way to obtain the best view possible that you want – and you can also do so, checking it out underwater.
The way you navigate it looks very much alike to what has been showcased before in Wii U Panorama View, which Nintendo did confirm that it will arrive sometime in Spring next year. While Google’s Street View was now shown in motion video, we do think that it is very likely that you can navigate down roads, as well as make full use of the vanilla map view and street view, regardless of whether it is on the big-screen in your living room, or on the GamePad.
