The company is also announcing two new additions to the service, namely, Google+ Communities and Snapseed. Basically, Google+ Communities is a “place for passions.” It includes public or private membership to support all kinds of groups, discussion categories, the option to start hangouts with community members, and the capability to share on communities via the +1 button across the web.
The second addition is Snapseed for Android, which is basically a product of Nik Software, now owned by Google. Touted as the iPad App of the Year 2011, Snapseed allows Android users to make basic adjustments on photos such as crop, tune, and straighten. Users can also enjoy creative filters, the ability to share creations via Google+ and other services, and Google’s Control Point technology that selectively enhances photos. You can get Snapseed for Android here.
