10 people were arrested, where they had computers infected with “Yahos” malicious software, where they then proceeded to steal credit card, bank and other kinds of personal information in order to achieve their nefarious ends. The 10 people nabbed were from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, New Zealand, Peru, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and this effort was made possible after numerous search warrants and a raft of interviews were conducted. I guess Facebook has its role to play, as their security team assisted the FBI after “Yahos” targeted their users between 2010 and October this year.
