There are many different reasons why we choose the smartphones that we do – hardware specs, price, platform, apps offered, native features, and etc., and if you’re extremely particular about the speed of the native browser built into the operating system, you might be interested to learn that RIM’s upcoming Blackberry 10 platform has a browser that appears to be pretty impressive, and according to initial hands-on previews, the Blackberry 10’s browser appears to have no problems beating Apple’s iOS 6 and Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8.

Filmed by the folks at GadgetMasters, these comparisons show the Dev Alpha B device against the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the iPhone 5. Of course there are other factors that can be taken into consideration, but until more detailed tests are done, it looks like the Blackberry 10 can most definitely hold its own.
