We do know that the Alcatel One Touch View will not come with a hardware button for the camera, but this time around, it is the Alcatel One Touch View that we are talking about which has already rolled out in Russia, while recently receiving its first official promo video. In fact, the promo video that you see above can also be found on Alcatel’s official YouTube page just in case you were wondering.
Basically, the Alcatel One Touch View is touted to be the first Windows Phone from Alcatel, but you will not find the goodness of Windows Phone 8 running underneath the hood, so you will just have to settle for Windows Phone 7.8 instead. At least it is still some form of Windows Phone, and you will be able to enjoy a new and wide home screen, without any arrow key to the right of course – which could actually be an error in marketing. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that it will not be Windows Phone 7.5 that ships with the Alcatel One Touch View. Other than that, there is no further information on pricing or worldwide availability.
