Some parents certainly jive with the times, and here is yet another modern day update to the baby name galore – Hashtag. For example, actor Jason Lee named his daughter Pilot Inspektor in 2003, but this time around, we have Hashtag, as in #hashtag. The proud parent made this announcement over Facebook last Saturday, “Hashtag Jameson was born at 10 o’clock last nite. She weys 8pounds and i luv her so much!!!!!!” Perhaps he might name his next child Grammar to get things right, no?
Of course, some folks were wondering whether this is a legit piece of news, and Yahoo! Shine did not manage to confirm the legitimacy of the photo, but stranger things have happened in real life, no? After all, if musician Prince actually used a symbol as his name, it is not too far fetched to believe that a non-celebrity would also do the same.
