RIM’s CEO (unsurprisingly) seems to think so, and in a statement, Thorsten Heins was quoted as saying that he believes that iOS is a downsized computer operating system, while Blackberry 10 has been described as a “true mobile computing platform”, a term which is most definitely up to debate. This is a surprising chance on his stance, given that not too long ago he was quoted as saying that he believed Blackberry 10 had a shot at being number 3, which we admit was a pretty modest and realistic goal for the time being. While we have yet to try Blackberry 10 out for ourselves, based on what we’ve heard and read and seen so far, it looks like it might have some promise, but we guess we will wait until next year to find out.
