LG F240 Has 1080p Display As Well
The race is firmly on, and the HTC Droid DNA will have to turn back frequently in order to see just who else is breathing down its neck – and LG’s F240 is said to be another smartphone that will come with a 1080p display, this coming after we heard that Samsung could very well release a 4.99” 1080p Super AMOLED display at CES 2013. The LG F240 (right now, this remains as a codename, so you could very well expect it to be known as something else entirely by the time it is ready to hit the market), where it is speculated to come with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution display.
The LG F240’s benchmark results point towards a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor alongside the Adreno 320 GPU, making it on par with the HTC Droid DNA in terms of raw power. It will feature Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice, and chances are pretty good we could see this puppy make its worldwide unveiling at CES 2013, or perhaps if time does not permit, MWC 2013 in Barcelona, Spain a month after CES. I guess the iPhone 5’s display is now persona non grata point when it comes to arguments over a smartphone’s display qualities in comparison tests – both in terms of size, resolution and pixel density.
