BlackBerry Patagonia 9620 Leaked
While we do know that Research In Motion (RIM for short) is about to bet the entire farm on the release of the BlackBerry 10 operating system next year, here we are with a leak of an upcoming hardware known as the BlackBerry Patagonia 9620, which will carry with it a QWERTY keyboard, paying homage to the BlackBerry devices of old. Of course, you will not find BlackBerry 10 running on this bad boy, but rather, there will be BlackBerry OS 7.1 that runs proceedings from underneath the hood, where it is aided by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor alongside 768MB RAM.
These specifications are nothing much to shout about, sporting a 2.44-inch, 480 x 360 resolution display, 2GB of internal memory that can be augmented via a microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel camera at the back, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi connectivity and PTT support. No idea on availability, but Nextel Mexico does seem to have locked it down for a December release. This would surely rank among the budget-minded who want a BlackBerry for their everyday use.
