The Blackberry 10 L-series has to be one of the worst kept secrets as we’ve seen the device leak multiple times in the past, but then again perhaps RIM wants to get the word out as much as they can so they aren’t doing much to stem the leaks. In any case here we are again with the L-series but instead of posing side by side with an iPhone 5, the L-series is instead pictured next to a Blackberry Bold 9700 device. Blackberry 10 will be RIM’s new platform and there will be new devices accompanying it, so in a way we are looking at the present and future of RIM in the photo above. There are additional photos of the comparison in which the L-series looks noticeably thinner than the Bold 9700 and its display looks almost double its size as well. It’s a pretty stark contrast and it certainly looks like RIM is moving away from the old and into a bold (pun not intended) new future. We’ll be looking forward to seeing the L-series make its official debut next year.
