Apple publishes revised Samsung apology on its U.K. website
Following the order released last week by the U.K. court to revise Apple’s statement on its U.K. website, the Cupertino-based tech titan has now posted a revised statement that is in compliance with the court order. The revised statement, as seen above, appears to be more compliant and direct, compared to Apple’s previous statement that added a few tricky words such as “not as cool as the iPad.” But, there’s a catch.
As pointed out by some users on Reddit and Hacker News , the revised statement on Apple’s U.K. website is difficult to view as it will require the viewer to scroll down to the bottom first. The statement at the bottom reads, “On 25 October 2012, Apple Inc. published a statement on its UK website in relation to Samsung’s Galaxy tablet computers. That statement was inaccurate and did not comply with the order of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. The correct statement is at Samsung/Apple UK judgement.”
