Samsung Galaxy S3 brown and black variants teased by Verizon
The smartphone has taken its cue from older candybar Nokia handsets that came with Xpress On covers as well as the Nintendo Game Boy that had a slew of variants and colors over the years (followed by its spiritual successor, the Nintendo DS and the ilk of course). Well, does this mean that modern day smartphones should ditch having too many colors? Not really, as colors are a matter of personal taste, and Verizon has teased that they will be making available brown and black variants of the Samsung Galaxy S3 “soon”, a word which we do not really like due to the relativistic nature of it.
Assuming all goes as planned eventually, we would be looking at a Galaxy S3 which will not cost a penny over the $200 contract price of current pebble blue and marble white smartphones. What do you think of the new colors, are they subtle enough and yet carry a message of sophistication each time you whip it out of your pocket?
