According to Android and Me’s source, the owner of this device had the handset in their possession for half a year, which means there is a very good chance that the phone they used was a pre-production device with pre-production software on board, which might explain why the phone isn’t doing as well as it should, especially since the rumors have suggested that the LG Nexus handset will come with a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset on board.
The pre-production unit also seems to be in line with earlier leaked photos of the prototype version of the device, which looks very different from the alleged final version which sports a more curved body. In any case the rumors are suggesting that the launch will be on the 29th of October, so we guess we won’t have to wait much longer to see if the rumors pan out, and where more updated benchmarks will be available.
