Are you looking forward to the ASUS Padfone 2? According to a leak, it seems that we can expect the device to be announced come 16th of October. Now thanks to the guys at Eee PC.it, it looks like we might have more clues as to what sort of specs the Padfone 2 could be packing under its hood. For starters we can expect a 4.7” display with a resolution of 1280×720. It is also expected to feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with a 13MP camera. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC along with a 2,140mAh battery. No word on which version of Android it will be running on although according to an Antutu database spotting, the ASUS Padfone 2 is expected to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the very least. Hopefully on its alleged announcement on the 16th of October, it will see an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Either way since none of this is official at the moment, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt for now, but do check back with us on the 16th where hopefully we will have more details to share with you guys!
