Alcatel One Touch View with Windows Phone 7.8 leaked
If there is one lasting impression that I have of Alcatel handsets, it would be this – there was one particular model that was powered by AA batteries, meaning you can use it on virtually any continent (as long as the network is supported) without having to carry a dedicated charger with you. Replenish your exhausted AA battery stock with some money, and you’re good to go. Well, Alcatel still churns out phones these days, but they’re such a small player now. A new leak has started to make its way online, where the Windows Phone 7.8-powered Alcatel One Touch View does seem to want to go up against the Lumia 610 from Nokia and perhaps even the rumored Lumia 510.
Hi-Tech Mail.ru claims that the Alcatel One Touch View will run on a Snapdragon MSM7227A chipset with a single 1GHz Scorpion core, be accompanied by 512MB RAM and an Adreno 200 GPU. This would make it carry double the amount of RAM found on both Lumia handsets. Expect a 4″ IPS LCD display, a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing shooter, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and 4GB of internal memory to round off the list of specifications.
