T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 arrives at the FCC

The FCC played host to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 recently, although this particular model is slated for a specific mobile carrier in the US, namely T-Mobile, where it came accompanied with the model number Samsung SGH-T779. Part of the documentation revealed a tablet sized device which was developed by Samsung thanks to the brand name being in the image itself, not to mention T-Mobile branding in full view as well. This is a 4G enabled tablet, and the FCC model came with 16GB of internal memory to get you started right out of the box.

It must be said that when the SGH-T779 picked up its Bluetooh SIG Certification, it was linked to a different tablet, the SGH-i497, which is actually a variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 that was headed for AT&T. Simple deduction skills mean the Samsung SGH-T779 ought to be headed for the T-Mobile platform in due time. No idea on pricing or availability though as at press time.
