Samsung logoIt’s been several months since Samsung announced the Galaxy S3, and while it is certainly one of the best Android devices out there, it seems like the rumor mill for its successor, the Galaxy S4, has already begun. According to the folks at The Korea Times, they have reported that according to their inside source, it looks like Samsung is gearing up to announce the Galaxy S4 at MWC 2013 which should be taking place in February of next year.

The phone is also expected to steal the spotlight from Apple’s iPhone 5 and will feature LTE connectivity and will be powered by Samsung’s own quad-core Exynos processors. The insider also revealed that the display will be bumped up to 5”, a 0.2” increase from the current Galaxy S3 although whether it will utilize a flexible display remains to be seen. Interestingly, or perhaps not so interestingly, the design of the Galaxy S4 will be similar to the Galaxy S3 with a rectangular design with extremely rounded corners, although word has it that Samsung could offer alternate designs to US carriers, much like they did with the Galaxy S2.

Granted we are quite far away from MWC 2013, we guess you can file this away under Galaxy S4 rumors for now but since it will be a while before we see if the rumors pan out, we suggest you take this with a grain of salt for now. In the meantime what do you guys make of this? Would you be disappointed if the Galaxy S4 did not deviate too much from the Galaxy S3’s design?
