HTC acknowledge Android 4.0 ICS update delay for the Incredible 2

As HTC Thunderbolt owners are probably aware of by now, Verizon/HTC has missed the end of August deadline they had originally planned for the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. As it turns out that is not the only HTC device that Verizon/HTC has missed the deadline on and Incredible 2 owners are probably wondering where their update is.

After all, the ROM for the Android 4.0 ICS update was leaked a couple of weeks ago, suggesting that the release was imminent. HTC has since acknowledged the delay on their Facebook page and just like they said with the Thunderbolt update, they are still working with Verizon on releasing the update for the Incredible 2. In any case we’ll be keeping our eyes open for the update, so stay tuned!
