Featuring a 14” 1366×768 display, the Latitude 6430u is reportedly both 33% slimmer and 16% lighter than Dell’s current Latitude laptop which should make traveling with it less of a burden. It will be powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor with the option of choosing between the i3, i5 or i7 models. It will offer configurations where it can support up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage and will, of course, run on Windows 8.
It also sports a pretty amazing battery where according to Dell, it should give you a whole day’s worth of productivity on a single charge. Of course that will vary depending on what you do – for example if you were to watch 1080p Full HD videos all day we expect it not to last you very long. As far as pricing and availability goes, the Dell Latitude 6430u will be released with the launch of Windows 8 although pricing has yet to be determined.
