Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for Sprint Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G owners?

Check out the screenshot above, and pinch yourself if you happen to own either a Galaxy Nexus or a Nexus S 4G from Sprint. Whatever the leaked screenshot depicts, it does seem to indicate that Sprint will be offering the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update (at long last) this coming September 6th for both smartphones, which is just a few more hours away. Hopefully the leaked screenshot is an accurate indicator of things to come, and not just something conjured from an image editing program from someone else’s desktop.

Assuming this is true, both the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S 4G will be considered to be the first CDMA smartphones in the US that will run on sweet, sweet Jelly Bean. Are you all stoked up for a possible mobile operating system update? If you have answered in the affirmative, you might want to make the relevant preparations now and start performing a backup of all your important data on either handset – or both, even.
