Verizon now offering Microsoft Office 365 to its business customers

Verizon has announced that it will be offering Microsoft’s cloud productivity suite, Office 365, to its business customers. Verizon hopes that the new addition to its mobile portfolio of tools will attract more customers into its turf. Furthermore, small business customers will also find Microsoft Office 365 nifty as they can now “take advantage of the productivity in the cloud while on the go.” Microsoft Office 365 supports iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.

In case you haven’t tried it yet, the suite is actually a cloud productivity service that includes email, instant messages with presence, video and voice conferencing, and document sharing. With Office 365, businesses can  collaborate with customers, co-workers and employees in real time while having access to email, contacts, calendars and other important information which can be synchronized across all devices, including smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
