As it stands, the identifiers go up to “iPad2,4” at the moment which is basically the iPad 2 WiFi model with the new 32mn process manufactured A5 chip. It is possible that these two identifiers would be the CDMA and GSM versions of the iPad 2, but Arment believes that isn’t the case as it is pretty late into the product’s lifecycle and would be an unusual move by Apple. In any case this is hardly confirmation but it is still interesting to note and according to Arment, he’s “never had a device show up [on the logs] that didn’t end up being a real, about-to-be-released Apple device.” What do you guys think?
