This rectangular smartphone might not be expensive, but neither is it corny cheap in any way. It will come in black, white and yellow shades, boasting a rough plastic feel on the chassis that adds that touch of class. Measuring 111mm x 60.3mm x 9.8mm and tipping the scales at 110 grams, the Sony Xperia Go will come with a non-removable battery (not something everyone would be pleased to hear), a 3.5″ display at a rather basic 480 x 320 pixels, as well as a special coating on the touchscreen display that works even with wet fingers.
Touted to run on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread, it will be powered by a NovaThor U8500 dual-core Cortex A9 processor at 1GHz, accompanied by 512MB RAM, DLNA support, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a microSD memory card slot.
