Samsung Galaxy Note 2 appears to be headed for Vodafone Germany, will cost €639.90
A couple of days ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was officially announced at IFA. Unfortunately in its announcement, details such as a specific launch date and pricing and carrier availability were left out. Well thanks to the folks at Engadget, a placard was spotted at IFA which basically revealed that the Galaxy Note 2 will be headed for Vodafone in Germany and is expected to be priced at €639.90 which is about $800 when converted to USD. Presumably this is the unsubsidized price of the Galaxy Note 2 which means that customers who do not wish to be tied down to a contract, that is the price that they will have to pay. No word on when the Galaxy Note 2 will be headed to the US, but hopefully it will not cost as much. However given all the new specs and new features that will be packed into the device, is $800 a fair price to pay if you were to buy it unlocked?
