Resale prices of Samsung phones drop by 10% in the wake of Apple’s legal victory
A while back we reported that as an aftermath of Samsung losing the legal battle against Apple, the company was reported to have experienced a large stock market slump. Well it seems that the stock market slump was not the only thing that went down for Samsung as according to online resale website, Gazelle, the number of people who were looking to sell off their Samsung devices jumped by a whopping 50% in the past three days, which also appears to have caused a 10% drop in prices.
While it remains to be seen if Apple will be successful in their injunction request, or if Samsung will be successful with their appeal, one would think that Samsung owners would hold on to their devices in the event that the injunction is successful, but we guess they could also be worried about lack of support should Samsung devices get banned. In any case what do you guys think? Anyone rushed to sell their Samsung handset once the news broke?
