Dell XPS Duo 12: Is it an Ultrabook or a tablet?

Is it an Ultrabook? Is it a tablet? To answer the question, this is no supercomputer, but rather, the Dell XPS Duo 12 is said to be both, depending on the situation and context that you are in. Sporting a novel and elegant flip hinge touchscreen display which was specially designed to take advantage of the Windows 8 operating system that has touch interaction on the menu, there is also a keyboard to make it jive with the notebook/Ultrabook crowd who want to get some serious work done while they are on the move.

Thanks to the innovative flip hinge design, one is able to make the transition from laptop to tablet to laptop in a jiffy, while the Full HD display is able to deliver up to 97% more pixels compared to your regular HD display. Using machined aluminum and carbon fiber as the main materials of choice for its chassis, it is well complemented by Corning Gorilla Glass for that added touch durability without weighing it down. As with the Dell XPS 10, the Dell XPS Duo 12 will also be available to the masses when Windows 8 arrives on the market at the end of October.
