CyberpowerPC Zeus-M Ultrabook announced
Now how about this, an Ultrabook so new, thin and stylish, that it was named after the God of Thunder? Well, the Cyberpower Zeus M Ultrabook comes in an extremely stylish physical appearance as well as being super thin – just like how any self-respecting Ultrabook should be. Touted to deliver a careful blend of performance, portability and smart capabilities, the Zeus-M has been specially chosen to carry an Intel Core i5-3317U Ivy Bridge Dual Core processor, coupling it with an energy-efficient HM77 chipset, in addition to a whisper quiet 60GB SSD while carrying 8GB RAM for an extremely fast response time. The Zeus-M2 model will carry 16GB RAM as well as double the SSD, without adding on extra physical bulk, remaining svelte at under an inch thin, while tipping the scales at less than 4 pounds.
The Ultrabook Zeus-M and Ultrabook Zeus-M2 will retail for $699 and $799, respectively, which are pretty good deals when you think about it, considering how we have seen other Ultrabooks that offered far less for more. Regardless of the model you selected, the Zeus-M will come with onboard Ethernet and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, sporting Intel Smart Connect Technology as well, in addition to Intel’s Anti-Theft and Identity Protection Technology.
Other hardware specifications include a trio of USB 3.0 ports, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, an integrated analog microphone, Bluetooth 3.0 support, and 24bit 2-channel audio support with a pair of stereo speakers. Each Zeus-M Ultrabook will run on the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, where it is accompanied by a 1-year limited warranty and free lifetime phone support.
