Apex Launcher Beta based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean now available
One of the great things about Android devices is that it lets you download and switch between launchers, sometimes without having to root your device. The good news is that if you’ve been meaning to check out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but you’re not sure if your handset is qualified for the update or if an update is coming at all, Apex Launcher has launched a new Beta version that is based on the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean code. The Beta will address several bug fixes, bring about some improvements along with “Jelly Bean Goodness”. - When placing widgets on the screen, everything else automatically moves to make room
- When they are too big, widgets resize on their own to fit on the homescreen
- Quickly remove apps/widgets by flinging them to the edge of the homescreen

- Switched to phone layout on 7″ tablets (e.g., Nexus 7)
- Added background for widgets in the drawer
- Fixed icon ordering bug within folders
- Other improvements and bugfixes
- Unlimited drawer tabs and new drawer management UI (pro)
- Improved drawer tab switching for vertical drawers (pro)
- Fixed Play Store widgets on JellyBean
- Fixed paid theme (icon pack) issue on JellyBean
