Samsung will be releasing a software update to unlock your device. Right now, we do not have a date for the release but it shall be soon.

Samsung has also responded in kind and stated that an unlock tool is expected to be released by Verizon and it should be arriving “soon”. However given that customer service reps get their info wrong from time to time, and since they’re hardly in the position to make promises or guarantees, we suggest that you not get your hopes up just yet. In the meantime we will keep an eye out for this bootloader unlocking tool, so check back with us later for more updates!
