With that being said, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook does not seem to think that all these rumors and speculation are bad things, and in fact sees them as signs and indication that people are craving for Apple’s next product. Addressing the various rumors and speculations of the next-gen iPhone at Apple’s Q3 conference call:
“We try very hard to keep our roadmaps secret and confidential, go to extreme actions to do that, however that doesn’t stop people from speculating and wondering. We can never stop that. That’s one of the great things about this country. So we won’t spend any energy trying to stop that. I’m glad people want the next thing. I’m super happy about that.”
What do you guys think? Are you a fan of rumors since they do play to the imagination, or do you think that rumors and speculations are pretty much crap and don’t do anything for the product at all?
