If you’re wondering when Sony will be holding a press conference at Gamescom 2012, the date has been confirmed today. The company has started issuing press invites to the event and it looks like August 14th is going to be the day. As to what will be shown off, we’re still in the dark. But with the recent leaks of a slimmer PlayStation 3 aka the CECH-4000, we can expect an official announcement for it. More exclusive games for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3? A teaser of the next-generation PlayStation? We can only hope.
Gamescom is less than a month away and will be held at the Staatenhaus am Rheinpark, Cologne, Germany. As we get closer to the event and during the conference, expect a lot more news of what’s going on. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the big stories then.
