Skyrim 1.7 beta now available on Steam, could Dawnguard for PC be coming soon?
It has almost been a month since Skyrim: Dawnguard was released on the Xbox 360 where it enjoyed a 30-day period of exclusivity before it made its way onto other platforms, which is why we can’t say we’re too surprised to learn that Bethesda has rolled out the 1.7 beta patch for Skyrim on the PC via Steam. This has led to some speculating that it could be the precursor to Dawnguard finally launching on the PC. The 1.7 patch is also expected to roll out to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 “as soon as possible”, according to Bethesda’s blog. No word if 1.7 will also be the precursor to Dawnguard for the PlayStation 3, but as far as Xbox gamers are concerned, patch 1.7 will come with some Kinect fixes along with additional support for French, German, Italian and Spanish gamers who wish to get in on the Kinect-enabled dragon speak commands for both Skyrim and Dawnguard. So, who else is excited?
