Halo fans have had tons of exciting news lately. First, they heard this morning that Halo 4 would be making it to the Microsoft Surface tablet. Then there were rumors yesterday that after the success of the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary edition, 343 Industries was working on a Halo 2 HD remake. Unfortunately these rumors have been put to rest by 343 Industries.
Halo Council has posted the results of a Q&A with 343 Industries from Microsoft’s Expertzone, in which 343 Industries stated that they are too busy and are not working on a Halo 2 HD remake. They are currently nearing completion on Halo 4, which will release on November 6th. This isn’t too bad of news as they haven’t completely ruled out the project, they just stated they were busy with other projects and I’m sure fans would rather have them focus all of their resources on Halo 4 than a remake.
