Burger King employee dips his dirty shoes on lettuce and posts picture online

Adding to the shameful Mcdonald’s scandal we reported yesterday, the famous hamburger restaurant Burger King appears to be next in line. If you love Burger King’s signature hamburgers, perhaps this report will change your mind. What you are seeing above is a photo of a purported Burger King employee standing on two containers of lettuce. The photo was posted on the imageboard website 4Chan with the caption on it that reads: “This is the lettuce you eat at Burger King.”

Thankfully, concerned citizens that reportedly included the notorious hacking group Anonymous, took action and used the employee’s GPS data embedded in the photo to locate the exact fast food restaurant’s address. Local newspaper Cleveland Scene visited the Burger King branch yesterday and asked the manager named Andrea for confirmation. When the photo was shown to her, Ms. Andrea reportedly said, “Oh, I know who that is. He’s getting fired.” Meanwhile, Burger King has issued a statement to Fox 8 News. Burger King Corp. has recently been made aware of a photo posted on a social networking site that allegedly shows a BURGER KING® restaurant employee violating the company’s stringent food handling procedures. Food safety is a top priority at all BURGER KING restaurants and the company maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any violations such as the one in question. The restaurant where this photo was allegedly taken is independently-owned and operated by a BURGER KING® franchisee. The franchisee has taken swift action to investigate this matter and terminated the employee involved in this incident.
