Do you think that YouTube is currently testing out a new design? Perhaps, as someone managed to stumble upon the screenshot that you see above – as well as some other screenshots that are available right after the jump to convince even the most skeptical mind out there. It does appear as though YouTube is working on tweaking their new design, where all the screenshots that you see was captured from the latest version of Chrome that runs on a MacBook Pro 17” – definitely not a case of a Retina Display here for sure. Google’s latest aesthetics seem to be interwoven with this new design update, and other YouTube pages seem to be unaffected so far, but as to whether that is a good or bad thing, I leave that up to you. It makes sense for a more uniform design though, as YouTube does belong to Google after all.
