Windows Phone 8 screenshots leaked
Microsoft definitely has plans to reveal Windows Phone 8 to the world, especially at a developer event which is happening sometime next week, although there has been some screenshots leaked out ahead of their time that hail from Microsoft’s latest version of their mobile operating system. Nokia Innovations were the ones who managed to bag those screenshots, which pointed towards a new camera user interface for Windows Phone that has a slider on the left side of the frame which is used for zooming purposes. Not only that, there is also a button displayed that enables you to toggle between the front and rear-facing cameras for easy to switching.
Apart from that, one can also view Windows Phone 8’s Skype integration, letting you answer the incoming calls with video, or sans if that is not your cup of tea. Skype has been integrated into the People Hub, and this makes life easier in terms of accessibility, as you are now able to dial a contact via Skype in the same way that you might send a text message or make a traditional phone call.
All in all, we look forward to Microsoft’s Windows Phone Summit that is happening next Wednesday in San Francisco. Hopefully more will be revealed, and even so, in an official manner.
