If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber and you’d rather not make the jump to Sprint’s network for your Galaxy S3 needs, well you’re in luck as T-Mobile has officially announced that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be arriving on its network come 21st of June. The device will be pretty much the same that you can expect from the other carriers, although it should be noted that instead of 4G LTE connectivity, T-Mobile subscribers will instead have to rely on the carrier’s HSPA+ 42 network. Apart from its 4.8” Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, and dual-cameras (8MP rear, 1.9MP front), it seems that T-Mobile’s version of the Galaxy S3 will also be utilizing a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. This would be contrary to the rumors that suggested that T-Mobile’s Galaxy S3 could feature the Exynos 4212 quad-core processor since the carrier did not have LTE networks in place. No word on when pre-orders will begin but if you’re interested, you can head on over to T-Mobile’s website to leave your name and contact details. [Press release]
