SAFE contains a suite of enterprise tools such as Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, support for VPN and Mobile Device Management, along with on-board AES-256 bit encryption. The SAFE Galaxy S3s will be available starting in July and will be available on five US carriers, which are the major four – AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, along with US Cellular. Not surprisingly these are also the carriers that will be offering the “regular” Galaxy S3 for folks who might not need the enterprise tools and security. No word on whether the SAFE version will be more expensive or if it will be priced the same, but if you’re interested in trading in your phone to the SAFE Galaxy S3, pop on over to www.samsungsafe2switch.com for the details.
