Given that the Galaxy S3 is Samsung’s most anticipated phone for 2012, we guess we’re not surprised that the company has spared no expense when it comes to advertising it. In fact sometime earlier this week, Samsung announced that they would be launching a fresh and cutting-edge marketing campaign aimed at promoting the Galaxy S3, and the folks at 9to5 Google have managed to come across several that have been scattered about New York. Basically what Samsung has planned is to launch 50 kiosks and 40,000 interactive posters that will be spread throughout the country over the next couple of weeks.

Pictured above is one of the interactive posters (New York, Lower East Side) that offers users a free CeeLo Green song. Another which was spotted by 9to5 Google is a giant screen at Port Authority in Manhattan. Upon touching the display, it will transition to show off three different Galaxy S3 selections with each option offering users downloadable content. Samsung has also announced plans to launch 3D advertisements that will play before a movie begins. The ad itself will also be interactive and will require the audience to wave their hands in the air to control a giant Galaxy S3 on the cinema’s screen. Sounds like a pretty expensive ad campaign to me, but then again we guess Samsung can afford it. If you’ve spotted any of Samsung’s interactive posters, let us know where in the comments below!
